How To: Add the Bestsellers Block to the Homepage¶

The Bestsellers section shows the most popular products among customers in the store. This section can greatly raise the sales and attract more customers.

1. Ensure that the Bestsellers & On-Sale Products add-on is installed and enabled (it has the Active status in the select box on the right).

2. In the Admin panel, go to Website → Themes → Layout and select Homepage.

3. Click the + button in the necessary container and click Add block.

   

4. Open the Create New Block tab and click the Products button:

   

5. In the dialog that opens:

   • Enter the block name (e.g. Bestsellers).

   • Select Scroller in the Template select box.

     

   • Open the Content tab and select Bestsellers in the Filling select box. If necessary, specify the number of elements (Limit) and configure the Filter by categories.

   
   • Click the Create button.

6. Click the gear icon on the created block:

   • In the General tab select Important block in the Wrapper field.
   • Click Save.

7. Drag and drop your block if you want to change its position relatively to other blocks.
